From 1979 to 1987 Tony Hill’s Blue Hat Records was a British record label with its fair share of myths, legends, and eccentricities.

First, let’s assess the myths. Two of the label’s 12 releases (yes, there were just 12 releases over an eight-year period) were by Tony Hill & The Hillmans. Rumour has it that The Hillmans went on to be Jesus Jones.
