Rae Ellen Bodie - long bio*

Rae Ellen Bodie is a Voice/Acting/Performance Coach, Actor and Theatre Director with over twenty years of professional experience.

She began her career in Calgary, playing the illustrious role of Cook in the Theatre Calgary production of “Amadeus”, where she first met Brad Hampton, who played the equally illustrious role of Various. Following almost a decade of acting in Calgary, with some teaching at her alma mater the U of C thrown in for good measure, Rae Ellen moved to Toronto, where she has lived and worked ever since.

She graduated a dozen years ago from York University where she received her MFA-Acting and a Graduate Diploma in Voice Teaching. She works in film and TV as an on-set Voice/Acting Coach, with recent gigs on “Transporter” (HBO), “Frenemies” (Disney) and “XIII: The Series” (Showcase).

As a Theatre Direct
